Continuous Improvement Systems Specialist

NLMK USA is looking for a Continuous Improvement Systems Specialist for either our Farrell, Pennsylvania or Portage, Indiana location. This is an excellent role to take steps towards management. Job duties

  • Facilitates and leads assigned KPI improvement events using the appropriate NPS tools.
  • Is responsible for team building/energizing, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, project management and reporting out to management.
  • Provides support to OE Level I and II engineers and operating personnel in the successful implementation of the NPS system and tools.
  • Drives culture change to instill focus on fact-based management practices via the use of Lean Six Sigma and other problem solving methodologies.
  • Is a USA company wide resource in statistical data analysis.
  • Helps develop and provide training on other continuous improvement tools that support or enhance the NPS system.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Lean Six Sigma certified (or in process)
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with statistical analysis software; i.e. MINITAB
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Highly self-motivated, excellent work ethic
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Experience and high level knowledge with MS Suite

Preferred skills

  • Black Belt Six Sigma Certification a plus
  • Oracle and/or Tableau knowledge and experience a plus

The location is flexible to be based out of either our Farrell, PA or Portage, IN location. Travel will be required between locations at a minimum of 1-2 days every 2 months plus as needed.
